Best hardware store ever. These guys have some commercial supplies that even the big guys don't carry. I'm always surprised. Customer service is excellent. Every time I get a couple of dollars I figure out something to buy just so I can enjoy their customer service. I give them 3 thumbs up

Prefer to shop here rather than the big box stores like Lowe's and Home Depot, don't have to chase down an employee for help, I'm greeted and assisted as soon as I walk in the door.

I hope they stay in business as long as I live in Mid city. Mr Newman who is no longer living ,was a great guy. The family is keeping the store in great shape. He would be very proud of them. The best hardware store in Baton Rouge for me.

Helpful and knowledgeable. Even if you show up 5 min before they close, they will still assist and ask what can they help you with right when you walk through the door. It seems like each one of their staff has a different speciality, and if you aren’t handy they will help you figure out what you need.

This place is my go to hardware store. This morning showed why. I brought in a broken stroller. I was greeted warmly and the staff not only showed me what part I would need, but they took the time to fasten it to the stroller and mad sure everything had been checked. The part cost $0.43. Going here is far quicker than a big box store and the people not only know what they are talking about, they go out of their way to help.

There's a certain flavor to a local hardware store that you can't get anywhere else. Unlike the big box stores, you can just stop in and say high to a neighbor or realize a new hobby or remember there are some projects around the house you could tend to. I think more ppl should just drop in and meet our beautiful neighbors at NC HARDWARE.
